Paul the Octopus - Psychic or deserves to be grilled ??

With the final round of football World Cup scheduled today at midnight, people are really gearing up to cheer for their favorite team and place bets. But amidst all this enthusiasm, there has also been a rise in the number of "Animal Psychics".
The most popular one among them is Paul the Octopus. Paul predicts that Spain would walk away with the world cup today. This is an added inspiration for Spain. The Hollanders on the other hand want Paul to be grilled and served!

Seems that the animal psychics are not confined to the West alone. In the East too, many animals such as camels, dogs and parrots, claimed to be animal psychics have made predictions for today's football match. One of such psychics is Mani, the Parrot. This psychic is originally from Malaysia, but currently in the Little India of Singapore and has predicted that Netherlands would win the cup instead. He was made to pick up a card from 2 - each containing the flag of the participating countries. Mani picked up the card having Netherland's flag twice! Mani's owner, Muniyappan has been using the bird to make predictions in Little India, Singapore from a very long time. He says that he has complete faith in Mani's predictions.

The superstitious football fans now have some reference while placing bets. The others have to merely rely upon their intuition. So are all these animals really psychic? Guess we'll have to wait till 2am to find out...

  2. It is really strange how people can get really obsessed with an Octopus. I mean there are people here in Germany who would like to kill it. People are stupid all over the place no matter where they are. Good post. Check my blog and feel free to comment
